Train Sketches
I’ve finished on my Illustrator cramming for a while, so thinking about what to focus on next. I think I’m going to get back on track with cartoons and photography (along with WPF, WCF and Atlas!).
I’m trying to get in the habit of sketching on the train so that I get more regular practice, but it’s sometimes a little hard to get into. You basically have to be willing for everyone to see that you’re sketching cartoons (and not very well). Lay on top shaky train-hand and it’s not always that comfortable. However I think it’s better to be improving and learning something cool and have the occassional person judge you.
This weekend I’m thinking about picking up a wide-angle lens, taking a load of dramatic street scenes, then putting a little cartoon version of me around town. If the results are worthy of attention then I’ll post them up.

So a camera man in the house, eh? Happy snapping! Hope the weather holds out. I don’t trust BBC weather cos the forecast changes every hour!!

I never really pay attention to forecasts, so I’m very smug on the rare occassions that I’m actually prepared and dressed appropriately.
I’ll just make little wet depressing cartoons if it works out that way

Just to clarify, that’s a graphics tablet, not some bizarre new recreational substance or medication.
I’m really happy and excited!
